When was the work done?
Just 2 weeks ago, January 2011.

What was involved?
My house was built in 1901. In those days, the practice was to allow everything into the same pipe, even the rainwater, so it can cause problems from time to time. On top of that, the piping goes right from the back of my house, under the kitchen, under the hallway and all the way out - between 21 to 30 feet.

How did you choose Greenday Environmental Services?
I found them in the phone book by chance. I talked to Martina in the office and I got the impression that they were willing to go the extra mile. The customer service was excellent, I spoke to Martina in the office and she was able to explain the costs to me very clearly.

I had already got on to other companies - one person wanted to charge me €180 just to put the camera down, plus €90+VAT which would have wound up nearly €300 by the time they were finished. Another company wanted to charge me more than that.

When I got the quotes from everyone, I went back to Martina on my gut feeling really. And I was right. They're very honest, they're very direct. They're a good reputable company.

How did the project run?
They were in, they put the camera down which cost me nothing. They were out within 55 minutes and they charged me €90, and no VAT.

The job wasn't easy, my drainage system is difficult, but Brendan, the guy they sent out, was excellent in the way he handled the job. I was very happy with the price and the customer service was excellent, absolutely excellent.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Greenday Environmental Services?
I used to deal with any sewerage problems myself. From now on if it goes again, with those prices, I'm not going to bother wasting my time. I'm actually going to go to them.

And another thing was that it happened on a Saturday and normally companies will charge extra to come out on a Saturday - they didn't charge extra, and that's unusual. I can't emphasise enough the customer service.

They did a damn good job and they were reasonable in cost.

Would you recommend Greenday Environmental Services to others?
I would recommend them to anybody and there's very few people I recommend. You can take it from me, I will be going back to them. They're the best company I've dealt with in years, and I mean that. I even sent an email to them telling them how good they were and how pleased I was. You cannot get anybody better than Greenday. They're going to do it as quick as they possibly can, and they're not going to rip you off.
