When was the work done?
The work was carried out toward the latter part of 2007.
What was involved?
It was a house extension and renovation.
How did you choose KS Construction?
A friend of mine who had used Kevin before said he was very good and recommended him to me. We chose Kevin not only because of the recommendation but because his quote for the work was more competitive than other builders we had consulted.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Kevin Stanley?
Not really no. We knew roughly what it was we wanted, but there were certain details that were worked out only once we started consulting with Kevin. From start to finish, between Kevin and ourselves we were able to get everything sorted.
Did Kevin introduce new ideas?
He did, yes. With Kevin's advice, for the same amount of money, we were able to get a larger extension and fit in an extra bathroom downstairs that we hadn't originally planned on
How did the project run?
Extremely well. I really have no complaints at all. The work was completed on time, on budget with no hassles.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using KS Construction?
I would have to say it was Kevin's reliability of getting in and getting things done. Being quite busy ourselves during the day and not being around the house, it was nice to have someone like Kevin who could manage the entire project himself.
Would you recommend KS Construction to others?
Yes I would, definitely.
Any tips for other people?
I would have to say that you should plan out your project in as much detail as you can before speaking to a contractor.
