Insurance
Is your company insured?
Yes, we have Employers and Public Liability insurance.
Project Process
What is the project process?
The initial customer contact is generally made by phone or email. At this point, I find out if the project needed planning permission and if so I download a copy of their drawings via the council's website in order to familiarise myself with the project.
Then, we arrange a meeting at the clients house to do a site survey. Thereafter a written quotation is submitted via post or email. Should the tender be successful a detailed and thorough quotation/contract is drawn up.
If the project does not need planning and has no drawings I meet with the customer, find out what they want, go through the proposed project step by step exploring ideas until we have finalised all the details. Thereafter a quote is submitted.
If the inquiry is the first point of contact and it is established that the project will need planning permission, we can arrange a free consultation with an architect who works in conjunction with us.
During what hours are you available to meet customers?
I am available to meet customers at their convenience. Evening meetings are most common.
