Open Plan Extension
Timberline's project brief: To entend the existing kitchen extension across the full width of the house.
This job presented significant structural challenges on many levels. It involved removing the entire back wall of the house and the dividing walls inside so as to leave open plan the whole back of this large four bed detached house. The included leaving the minimum in terms of load bearing pillars for structural steel to rest on and also concealing all steel work within the floor cavities. Hint!
