How did you choose Timberline Building Contractors Ltd?

I had seen their work in a friend's house and I was very happy to go with Derek.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Derek Moore?
We really just needed an extra room, so the attic conversion was ideal.

Did Derek introduce new ideas?
He did. Derek showed us that if we moved the stairs to where one of the walls in the bedroom was, we would have much more space and better access to the extra room. Derek also put in an extra velux, so there is far more light in the landing than there was before. It looks great and there us definitely better access now. I work in the blind business, and I know from hanging blinds how difficult access to some attic conversions can be. Derek gave us a lot of suggestions and we were very happy with them.

How did the project run?
Very well, they turned up early, and although the job took a week longer than expected, that was only because Derek was waiting on the stairs to be made. We had a new baby in the house and they were very conscious of dust. They opened up windows at night to help with clearing the air and always cleaned up after themselves and left the place tidy.
