Bathroom Makeover

When was the work done?
February of 2007.

What was involved?
I had Form Concepts come in and completely redo the main bathroom in the house and an ensuite as well. Both bathrooms needed to be retiled from floor to ceiling. A a wall was knocked out to create a bit more space. The shower cubical in the ensuite was replaced and a new pump was added to the system.

How did you choose Form Concepts?
Yvonne happens to be a friend of my neighbours.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Yvonne Mulligan?
Yes, we pretty much knew what we wanted. Something fairly clean with loads of storage and tiles from floor to ceiling.

Did Yvonne introduce new ideas?
Yes, she did. We thought we had considered every angle but Yvonne came up with the idea of switching the toilet and the sink so that we would be able to put additional storage over the toilet. We hadn't thought that was possible. It really opened up a lot of extra space.

How did the project run?
REally well. Yvonne employs very good tradesmen and everything ran really well. Yvonne would check in with them every evening to track their progress. The length of time that the project took was just what Yvonne had told us it would be.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Form Concepts?
It was painless. Once we had agreed on a design, we went shopping together one morning and got everything ordered - tiles, bathroom suite, everything. When that was sorted, she took care of the rest and got everyone lined up.

I was very impressed with Yvonne. She is very good, does a lot of research herself and won't try to impose her style on you. And she will offer various options depending your budget. Yvonne won't railroad you into anything, she really works along with you to give you what you want.

What's your favourite part now?
The tiling in both bathrooms was very well done. We used very big tiles in the main bathroom and smaller tiles staggered in the ensuite. The effect was very, very good.

Would you recommend Form Concepts to others?
Oh definitely, I already have. A few of my friends have also used Form Concepts and were very happy.
