When was the work done?
The work was completed in May, 2006.

What was involved?
It was the fit out of an entire apartment. It included the purchase and installation of appliances, flooring, carpets, blinds, curtains and bathroom fittings. The mirrors Yvonne chose for the bathroom were very nice. Form Concepts handled the purchase and the delivery of the furniture for the apartment; beds, dining table, chairs, that type of thing. Yvonne brings with her lots of good ideas.

How did you choose Form Concepts?
Yvonne had done some work for my brother when he was doing up a house. He knew I was purchasing a new apartment and he recommended Yvonne to me.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Yvonne Mulligan?
Well, I did have a particular style in mind. I wanted something modern and contemporary. I had certain ideas and Yvonne was like, "no, that's not going to work here". She then came up with some very good ideas which I was absolutely delighted with. If I had done the apartment on my own I definitely would have made some fundamental mistakes.

Did Yvonne introduce new ideas?
Absolutely, Yvonne was fantastic in terms of the ideas she would have. She helped with the layout of the apartment, the colour scheme and floor boards. Yvonne would say things like, "let's not do curtains here, let's do blinds". She was just extremely expert in her advice and I was very happy to have it.

How did the project run?
In terms of how it ran, it exceeded my expectations. Everything Yvonne said she would do she did. She completed the fit out of the apartment in approximately two weeks, which I was very happy with. Whenever someone was coming to the apartment to do work such as electrical or flooring, they were always on time. There was absolutely no mess as everything was always cleaned up. I was thrilled with the job.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Form Concepts?
Well, there's a few; Yvonnes professional experience and the expert advice that she has, and if she says she is going to do something, she delivers.

What's your favourite part now?
I actually, quite like my ensuite. Yvonne was very good. She noted that there were black tiles above the shower and she said that that was what we we're going to work on. Yvonne got some nice black and white pictures and accessories and the ensuite now looks fantastic. But I love the whole apartment. Everything she did was good. One thing I would like to point out about Yvonne is that she has a very good, down to earth common sense attitude that I really appreciated; she is a really good person to deal with.

Would you recommend Form Concepts to others?
Absolutely yes, it's a no-brainer. I would say if you are doing a major project and you don't engage a professional like Yvonne, you are stupid. She is value for money because she sources a lot of items from people she does business with therefore can avail of trade discounts.
