When was the work done?
The work was done in March, 2008.

What was involved?
I live in Malahide but I had a one bedroom apartment in Ballsbridge that needed to be totally renovated. It needed a new kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, flooring, decorating, lighting, everything.

How did you choose Form Concepts?
we found Yvonne on the internet. My husband and I had gotten quotes from 3 different people and though she wasn't the cheapest, we were the happiest with Yvonne. She was easy to talk to and we felt she really listened to what we were saying. Yvonne was very good at making suggestions that would work within the size and shape of the apartment and would be able to handle everything from start to finish.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to ?
I had a vague notion of an open plan layout in the living room but didn't know if it would work. My husband and I were very much open to suggestions.

Did introduce new ideas?
Yvonne took by basic ideas of the open plan and figured out a way to make it work with regards to space and the shape of the apartment.

How did the project run?
Very well.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Form Concepts?
The fact that with the exception of choosing colours and a few other things, Yvonne managed everybody and took care of the whole project. That was one of the reasons why we chose Yvonne in the first place. I have 3 young kids and my husband works long hours so it was brilliant that Yvonne was able to handle everything and make all necessary arrangements.

What's your favourite part now?
I would have to say it's the open plan and kitchen area.

Would you recommend Form Concepts to others?
I would recommend Yvonne highly. Not only is she very good at what she does but she's also very personable, pleasant and easy to work with.

Any tips for other people?
Have some basic ideas but don't be so set in your ways, be very open minded. Get input from the professionals with regards to what's possible, available and things like finishes. They often have ideas you may not have thought of or considered.
