Classic Apartment
The owner of this Rathmines apartment wanted a calm, stylish decor with plenty of storage space. An important consideration was that the new decor should coordinate with the existing white and green marble fireplace. Hint! Click on any thumbnail to see a bigger picture. |  |
 Karen and her client selected a warm cream colour as the base colour. |  A gold and black fabric for the Queen Anne chair made a strong focus and united the cream colour-scheme and fireplace. |
 The much needed storage units can just be seen in this picture. They are unobtrusive but very roomy. To the right, a wall-sized mirror makes the room light and spacious. |  A contemporary mirror is also used above the fireplace to good effect. |
 This "side" table expands into a dining table which can comfortably fit four people. The table was custom built for this apartment by Interiors. |  A classic cream and brown colour scheme was chosen for the kitchen. All the existing kitchen units were retained - the new scheme was created by changing doors and work surfaces only. |
