When was the work done?
The project was started in February, 2008 and is just finishing now in March 2008.
What was involved?
I'm in the process of having the front and back garden at my house landscaped. Timber decking and a patio have been installed at the back and gravel stones laid in the front. There was general gardening too -
planting and cutting hedges.
How did you choose Brian and Stafford?
I found them on the internet and their website was very good. The photos of previous work looked very good, and the fact that they were local suited me.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Brian O' Hara?
Not exactly but I did have some ideas.
Did Brian introduce new ideas?
Brian was responsible for the design, but he did incorporate my ideas.
How did the project run?
Generally speaking it's working quite well. I take a look at the garden every day after work, and When I have any issues with what's been done, they sort them out.
What was the biggest benefit to you?
From the very start, they've certainly kept to their word. Brian came when he said he'd come. He came back with the design on the very day he said he'd be back. They started on the day when they said they'd start. The project has run a little over schedule but their time keeping and punctuality on a daily basis has been excellent. And they're very approachable.
What's your favourite part now?
The patio at the end of the garden which looks very well.
Would you recommend them to others?
I would recommend them, yes.
Any tips for other people?
Get samples of all the materials like timber, pebbles, slabs. Photos are helpful but seeing actual samples of the materials to be used is better.
