When was the work done?
It was started in mid-September and took about 6 weeks to complete.
What was involved?
I have a big orchard garden that was completely and utterly overgrown. Everything, including the shrubs and trees, needed to be cleared out and removed before the real project began. Greenstone redesigned the garden, built a large patio and put in a waterfall. I had an orchard wall already and I had them build another to match it. It was a big project.
How did you choose Greenstone Landscapes?
A friend of mine knew of someone who had used Ross before and was pleased. I went to see the work that Ross had done and was very impressed.
Ross Farrell was the main reason why I chose Greenstone Landscaping. I met with him and liked him very much. Ross came across as very straightforward and honest. There was good rapport between us which is important to me because you need to feel comfortable with the person you?re working with.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Ross Farrell?
I had certain ideas in my mind but nothing definite. I only knew that I wanted a big patio!
Did Ross introduce new ideas?
Absolutely. Ross had lots of good ideas.
How did the project run?
Very smoothly. Ross gave me an idea of how long the project should take and he was able to complete it on time. I was very satisfied with how things went.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Greenstone Landscapes?
The satisfaction that comes from working with someone who really listens to you when you have comments or questions. Ross as a person is very open to anything I had to say. He also kept me informed by asking my opinion.
What's your favourite part now?
The back of the garden. It's been done in an Italian style. I love it.
Would you recommend Greenstone Landscapes to others?
Certainly.
Any tips for other people?
See their work beforehand. Also, it?s unbelievably important that if you have a certain, definite idea in your head of what you want, then you should stay with it. You?re the one who is going to have to live with it after all. Also be very comfortable and happy with the person you choose to do the work. There should be a rapport between you because you will be in a sense working together.
