In August 2005.
How did you choose Greenstone?
I just picked up his card in Homebase in Rathfarnham and gave him a call. We met, drew up the basic requirements, then went from there. And it worked out perfectly.
Had you definite ideas for your garden?
Not really. I just wanted a very low maintenance garden and no grass.
Did Ross introduce new ideas?
Absolutely - he came back with some excellent ideas. The very first time we talked he came up with some ideas which we didn't want to go with. And very importantly, he really listened to us and what we wanted. After that meeting he came back to us with new ideas and a sketch which was perfect.
Was there any disruption to you during the work?
None at all. The team cleaned up everything every evening.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Greenstone?
The biggest thing was that Ross did everything he said he was going to do. And he did it exactly when he said he would - from providing initial sketches to delivering samples to finishing the project on the given date. I didn't have to project manage the job at all.
I run my own business too and that's the type of service I provide for my clients. Ross is very keen and he's very committed to his business.
What's your favourite part now?
Definitely the water feature. The design and the box hedging work perfectly. Overall, I have to say that I never thought the garden could turn out so well. Ross worked with the shape of the garden and was able to get the most out of it.
Would you recommend Greenstone to others?
Definitely. I have done so already and I will continue to do so. I think you can tell that I'm a fan!
Have you any tips for other people?
No. Just talk to Ross would be my best advice.
