Small Rathmines Garden
Customer reference for Greenstone Landscapes as told to pickapro by A Delany from Rathmines, Dublin 6 on 19-Jan-2012
When was the work done?
The work was done in mid November, early December,
2011.
What was involved?
It was a complete redesign of a small garden in back. A patio was added as well as
a bit of lawn, raised beds and a new steel back door. Various planting was done
along the wall. Ross also carried out work on our front garden.
How did you choose Greenstone Landscapes?
I found Ross on the Pickapro website. I had Googled "small garden designs in Dublin"
and the Pickapro site came up. I was looking for Landscapers in the Rathmines area
where we live and Ross was one of guys who came out to the house to have a look.
We liked the way Ross handled the consultation and his ideas were excellent. The quotation
Ross provided to carry out the work was good so we chose him to do the garden.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Ross Farrell?
Not really. The only thing we were sure of was that we wanted to keep some of the
existing trees and have a garden that was low maintenance. As far design input, I told Ross
that I preferred curvy lines rather than stright ones.
Did Ross introduce new ideas?
Absolutely, Ross had loads of ideas. Ross came up with the design idea for the patio as well
as the planting scheme and the construction of the raised beds.
How did the project run?
Excellent, we couldn't fault any of it. Ross and the guys were fantastic. They were here every morning at 7:30,
as soon as it was light
and worked all day until it got dark around 4:30 PM. They were so reliable you could set
your watch by them! Everyone was so nice and personable, it was a pleasure to have them
around. My husband and I were so pleased with the standard of the paving, brickwork and the way
the beds were constructed.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Greenstone Landscapes?
I think I would have to say that it was the design Ross came up with. We had never really
used the back garden before and my husband and I wanted something that would bring the garden
into the house. Since it's winter, we haven't been able to use it yet but we're looking forward
to the spring.
Would you recommend Greenstone Landscapes to others?
I would yes, definitely.
Any tips for other people?
I would just say to keep an open mind. When the ideas of a design come together,
you can really see the advantages of having a professional working for you.
