The brief for this garden was simple - a full make-over was needed.
At the rear of the house, Leslie built cedar decking with brick edging. To one side of this decking, a pebble bed was created for presenting potted plants and herbs.
The deck leads to a pebble pathway - also with a brick border. A mirror was used at the end of this pathway to give the illusion of additional space.
Leslie removed the old lawn and rotivated and raked the ground before laying new turf.
On the shady left hand side of the garden, Leslie planted shade loving plants such as mahonias, heathers and aucuba.
He also planted everygreens and flowering shrubs for year round colour. Hint! Click on any thumbnail to see a bigger picture. |
