Relying On Diarmuid Since 1998

What type of work has been involved?
Design, front and back garden work, a patio and enlarging an area in the front to get a second car in. He's also put in a rockery for me. The work that Diarmuid has carried out for me over the years has absolutely transformed the garden and it all works well together.

How did you choose New Seasons Landscaping?
A friend of mine had used Diarmuid on her garden and she recommended him to me. Another reason I contacted Diarmuid was that I heard he had won an award in garden design. That was important to me at the time because I was going to have the garden done but I couldn't envisage what I wanted.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you spoke to Diarmuid about the different jobs?
With regards to the latest job, yes, I knew what I wanted but that hasn't always been the case. I've relied on Diarmuid to come up with a lot of different ideas.

Did Diarmuid introduce any new ideas?
He does yes, but on this last job he mostly followed my lead. He did have some very good ideas though about planting bamboo where some old trees used to be and he helped me to reduce weeding in the flowerbeds by planting it a certain way.

How do the projects run?
Excellent. Diarmuid takes a great personal interest in the work he carries out for me, almost as if he's doing it for himself. If an idea isn't working or if he thinks he can improve on something, he says so. Something that I really like about Diarmuid is that I've never had to call him back to fix anything after the project is finished, it's always been done perfect the first time. I've always been pleased with the results.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using New Seasons Landscaping?
Having used Diarmuid so many times before, I just know that he'll do a good job for me. Diarmuid brings so much of his own passion and interest to the work. Another benefit is our good communication. I'm comfortable not only communicating what I want but what I don't want which is just as important.

What's your favourite part now?
The patio in the back garden is my favourite.

Would you recommend New Seasons Landscaping to others?
I would yes, I found Diarmuid to be very good. I know that if I'm going to have additional work done in the garden, it'll be Diarmuid I'll have back.

Any tips for other people?
Have a general idea of what you want to have done and if the contractor comes up with a plan that you're not happy with, say so. Good communication is so important.
