Garden With Patio
The owners of this garden needed a safe year-round playing surface for their children. Unfortunately at least half of the garden is in constant shade and too wet for a healthy lawn. Sean overcame this problem by creating an all-weather pebble play area. A railed decking area was added at the sunny end of the garden using pressure treated scandinavian pine. The low maintenance planting was a mixture of everygreen shrubs and herbaceous planting for brighter splashes of colour. Climbers were trained onto trellises at intervals around the garden to soften the brick wall.A new roll-out lawn completed the garden makeover. Hint! Click on any thumbnail to see a bigger picture. |
