When was the work done?
The work was done in November, 2008.
What was involved?
There had been a leak in a bath that caused damage to a bathroom and it needed to be fixed up. The bath itself as well as the floor tiles needed to be replaced and the ceiling needed repair work done.
How did you choose A1 Action Master?
The work that was done was actually on behalf of my mother. She's elderly so we helped her to find someone to do the work. We found A1 Action Master in the Golden Pages, spoke to them about what was needed and liked their attitude.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to A1 Action Master?
Nothing definite outside of having the damage repaired and things put back in order.
Did Noel introduce new ideas?
He did, yes but first they asked us what we wanted done and then gave us different options. Since the bath needed to be
replaced, they asked if my mother would prefer to have a shower installed because it might be easier for her, but she likes her bath so that's what we went with. They also suggested putting in an extra handrail for safety which I felt was very thoughtful. What I liked about A1 Action Master was that they were never
pushy with their suggestions and never tried to sell us extra just to get more business.
How did the project run?
Superb. They came out, spoke to us about the job, measured up and got to work. Everyone was punctual and there were no delays. Sometimes they even started early. Every day the place was cleaned, left immaculate but also useable which was important because it's the only bathroom in the house. I was happy with the way things went because my mother was home during the day while I was at work and everyone was very pleasant to her while they were working.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using A1 Action Master?
The quick service, reliability, workmanship and cleanliness were superb. Another benefit was the fact that they were able to deal with me instead of my mom because we didn't want to stress her out. If I ever need additional work done in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up the phone and call them again.
Would you recommend A1 Action Master to others?
Oh yes.
