Fast Bathroom Refit
Customer reference for Crowley Heating and Plumbing as told to pickapro by Brian Arthur from St Kevins Church, South Circular Road on 08-Mar-2007
When was the work done?
January 2007.
What was involved?
Quite a lot actually. David re-plumbed a shower room, re-plastered and put in a new shower tray. The shower room needed to be completely gutted and made new again.
How did you choose David Crowley?
I'm a structural engineer so you would think that I would have found a plumber myself through contacts, "the guy you know is the guy you go with", but I'd been let down about five times. I found David Crowley on the internet, spoke to David and gave them a shot at it. I took a chance, it worked and I was very pleased.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to David Crowley?
It was kind of an emergency fix rather than a planned project. The problem was in an apartment that I own and rent out. There had been a small leak from an over flow of the water tank which had never been identified. Three years later it had destroyed the plaster board and everything in the shower room.
How did the project run?
In terms of reliable, we scheduled to meet at eight o'clock one morning and he was there at five to eight, I was late. We were away on holiday while the work was being done but when we came back, the project was completed. They did a fine job
What was the biggest benefit to you of using David Crowley?
The job was completed; it was done well and on time. Another benefit to me was that I found David to be very proactive in making suggestions and giving good advice.
Would you recommend David Crowley to others?
Yes, so much so. The apartment he worked on is a listed building. It's an old church I converted into apartments years ago and it’s very unusual. My own house is also a listed building and I’d say it hasn’t been re-plumbed since the 1840s, so it needs to be essentially redone. Not only would I recommend David, he is going to do that work as well.
