House Carpentry
Customer reference for C And N Carpentry as told to pickapro by Liam from Ballinasloe on 14-Jul-2008
When was the work done?
The work was carried out in July, 2008.
What was involved?
Mainly second fix carpentry in a domestic house; hanging doors, installing and fixing stairs, shelving for hot presses and wardrobes, skirting and architraves. It was a pretty big job.
How did you choose C&N Carpentry?
I know of C&N Carpentry because I live not far from where they're based. I was already aware of their reputation as good carpenters and after speaking to Colin and getting a good quote for the work, chose them. I was comfortable to go with someone I had heard about and trusted.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Colin Higgins?
I did, yes. I had a complete list of the things that needed doing.
Did colin introduce new ideas?
It wasn't really necessary in this case because I already knew what I wanted but he was very helpful with regards to the practical matters and applications.
How did the project run?
Really well. Time wise they were reliable, Colin and Niall were always here when they said they would be. The whole project was completed very quickly and the quality of the work was excellent.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using C&N Carpentry?
A few things really. I would say cost, speed, efficiency and quality of work were the biggest benefits.
What's your favourite part now?
Just having all of those projects finally done.
Would you recommend C&N Carpentry to others?
I would of course, yes.
Any tips for other people?
Choose someone you know and trust like I did and if you can't, at least check references and see examples of their previous work. Try and speak to people they have done work for.
