Customer reference for plumbing, heating services as told to pickapro by Eric Kavanagh from Kildare on 10-May-2006
When was the work done?
January 2006.
What was involved?
Hotfoot installed underfloor heating and poured a screed floor over that.
How did you choose Hotfoot?
They were highly recommended to me by a kitchen manufacturer who had come across their work in another house. It was so successful that there was no need for oil heating. In my own case, the work was so good that there was less than 1mm tolerance in floor level across a large room. They were very accurate and very quick.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Gary Foley and Enda Dooley?
I knew exactly what I wanted - underfloor heating and poured screed which was to be as level as possible.
Did Gary introduce new ideas?
There was no need because I knew exactly what I wanted. And they could provide what I wanted.
How did the project run?
Extremely smoothly, like clockwork. They arrived and they did it all in a day. And very professional - it was well planned and well scheduled.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Hotfoot?
The level floor - because without that we could have had all kinds of problems installing the kitchen and tiles.
Would you recommend Hotfoot to others?
I would highly recommend them - and I have done. All in all, I would sum them up as being very professional. They know what they're doing.
Any tips for other people?
To be honest with you, I would use Hotfoot. Because if you are putting in tiles on a floor, there's nothing better then a level floor. And they have a broad range of other products too such as roof heating.
