When was the work done?
March 2017. What was involved?
Build Right converted the attic in my bungalow. They put in a stairs obviously, moved the water tank, put in timber floors, wardrobes and fit storage in under the eaves on both sides. Lee did a fine job and gave me a nice big room.
How did you choose Build Right?
I was friends with a guy that was working for him at the time so he introduced me to Lee. When I met him, I thought that he was a very nice lad. I spoke to one or two different builders but when my friend recommended Build Right that was good enough for me.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Lee O' Gorman?
I had stuff in mind, obviously. But you do kind of pick the builder's brain. Lee would suggest small changes like getting a bigger size velux window because you get in more light. The room is lovely and bright and airy. It's stuff like that he was great with.
How did the project run?
I couldn't fault them. You hear horror stories about builders disappearing off for three of four days. Lee and his guys turned up every day, always on time. What I liked about him was he always started early at around 7.30 and then finished around four everyday. That suited me. The lads he had working with him were lovely fellows too. Lee is very good and very diligent. They always tidied up every night. Really, everything was spot on. His workmanship was second to none, I have to say.
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Build Right?
As I saw the project going along, I knew I was getting a good job. Lee would talk you through things, tell you what he was getting and what he was doing. Everything was discussed. Lee always consulted me about what he was doing before he did anything. He was very, very helpful and I got a great job at the end of it.
Would you recommend Build Right to others?
I would have absolutely no problem recommending Lee for any type of job because I think he can do anything. He's top drawer. And I've never seen so many tools! He has every tool for everything.
Lee would never let anybody down. I can't say anymore than that.
